O’Reilly Fighting Back After Fox News Lets Him Go For Sexual Abuse
Fox News has made it clear that they are letting O’Reilly go over sexual harrassment allegations.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Fox has been forced to settle O’Reilly’s sexual harrassment suits and has previously paid $13 million to the accusers.
A final decision will be announced in the next few days.
However O’Reilly won’t go down without a fight.
O’Reilly’s attorney Marc Kasowitz spoke out against the ‘McCarthyist’ witch hunt against O’Reilly.
“Bill O’Reilly has been subjected to a brutal campaign of character assassination that is unprecedented in post-McCarthyist America,” said Kasowitz.
“This law firm has uncovered evidence that the smear campaign is being orchestrated by far-left organizations bent on destroying O’Reilly for political and financial reasons.
That evidence will be put forth shortly and it is irrefutable,” said Kasowitz.
Other liberal news networks have been rallying for O’Reilly to be fired.
“Our reaction is it’s about time. This man needs to be fired. …
He needs to go.
It’s absolutely appalling that a man who has sexually harassed so many women … would still be there after all these years,” said CNN’s Lisa Bloom.
Bill O’Reilly is still denying any wrong doing.
He expressed that the only reason he has paid any of the settlements was to “put to rest any controversies to spare my children.”
